Slow Food, in the International Conference of Naples, has introduced the book "L'ITALIA DEI DOLCI", inside a card introduced the "Cuddrireddra" of Delia.

The “Cuddrireddra” becomes “Slow Food Presidium”.
After entering into the “Ark of Taste” the Cuddrireddra of Delia captures another important goal: it becomes “Slow Food Presidium”. It is a great plan for the promotion and valorisation of typical agro alimentary products that the "Foundation Slow Food for the biodiversity" has been realizing for approximately three years in all Italy and since last year, all over the world. The Presidia support the small excellent productions, make the most of territories, recover trades and traditional techniques of working in order to safeguard typical productions.
The Presidia involve the producers directly and offer their assistance in order to improve the quality of the products, they facilitate exchanges between several countries and they look for new outlets of local and international market.

First edition of the “Festival of the Cuddrireddra of Delia”.
The Community of Delia and the Association Pro Loco of Delia in collaboration with the Regional Province of Caltanissetta, the S.O.A.T. n.41 of Delia of the Regional Councillorship to Agriculture and the association Slow Food Lead of Caltanissetta, has organized the first “Festival of the Cuddireddra di Delia” in order to introduce a simple, savoury and genuine product of the local gastronomic tradition and with the aim to contribute to the safeguard of an ancient product of our territory.

The “Cuddrireddra” is on the homepage of the “Slow Food of Lentini” near the section of the Lead of Caltanissetta, led by Pasquale Tornatore, will collaborate together with the municipality of Delia to the organization one feast dedicated to this typical product.
